| Fastex Bumper
products are made of Modified PVC containing a plasticizer, formulated
especially for its unique ability to serve as a cushioner, spacer
and protector. The adhesive used is an acrylic-based system providing
long-term adhesion and high shear strength. Fastex Bumpers are sold
in a matrix-pad which is "kiss-cut" for easy removal and
application. The bumpers adhere easily onto smooth, clean surfaces
with only thumb pressure and require no screws, rivets or fastening
devices.
Fastex Bumpers have a self-sticking adhesive backing. Simply peel
the "kiss-cut" bumpers off the liner and stick directly
on a clean, dry surface. No need for screws, glue, rivets or holes.
Fastex Bumpers are ideal for providing skid and mar resistance for
telephones. The installation is fast and secure and involves minimal
labor.
In this application,
the Fastex Bumper is adhered to a wooden cabinet door. The Bumper
provides shock and sound dampening when the hinged door is closed.
